A Custom Telecaster of own
Well, it was finally time to assemble a Tele completely according to my own head and wishes. The Monster Relic body was in place and a neck with a maple fingerboard as well… It was to be a custom-made Telecaster – and at the same time an article series and a construction project for Swedens Musikermagasinet. The pickups came from Lundgren Pickups: Tele BJFE in the neck position and Vintage 7.5 in the bridge.
The two rhythm guitars both play using the neck and bridge pickups in series. The first solo is using the neck pickup only, the next solo is neck and bridge pickup in parallel, the third solo is bridge pickup only, and the last is neck and bridge pickups in series. Everything is first takes through a Princeton Reverb II via a Shure SM58. Only a dash of reverb has been used.
